Full Windsor Knot

Ties: Not Just for Wearing Around Your Neck
You know, ties can come in real handy sometimes, other than wearing them around your neck at work. Like when you get off work late and you want to go to a party, but don’t have time to change clothes. Well… all you need to do is wear your tie around your head like a head band so you are not to be mistaken as not being a party animal. You could even emphasize your party-animalness, when there is something exciting happening at the party, by occasionally twirling your tie above your head like you’re a cowboy.
Also, say you’re at a football game and everyone in the stadium has rally towels to wave in the air to cheer on their team victory….except you forgot your rally towel at home and you are the only one in the whole stadium who doesn’t have a rally towel. A Necktie for Missions that are Impossible
I was thinking the other day about tying my necktie in the mornings and I thought to myself that every morning when I tie my necktie for work I should listen to some “get ready to rumble” music. You know the type of music you might listen to while you are getting ready for a secret mission that is impossible….that’s what I mean by “get ready to rumble” music.

Not too long ago I did a blog post titled “TIES ARE NOT JUST FOR WEARING AROUND YOUR NECK.” I thought I would do a follow up blog post on how to make a necktie skirt.
Necktie Skirt
The reason I feel so strongly about this is because one day I saw a girl wearing a necktie skirt and man did she look good! In fact, she not only looked good, she was getting all kinds of attention because of her necktie skirt. The pattern and colors she chose to make her necktie skirt out of brought out the color in her eyes. It was way awesome!! Here is what you will need to do it:
- About 6-12 neckties, of varying colors and patterns
- 7-inch or 9inch skirt zipper
- Hook and eye, button, or snap
- 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch wide elastic (optional)
- A few yards of lining fabric
- Thread, pins, sewing machine, etc.

Zipper Ties
Four or five years ago a friend of mine took a trip to South Korea. When she returned from her trip she gave me a zipper tie as a gift and I loved it!! Whenever I’m in a hurry to get some where and I need to wear a tie, I always grab her tie….the zipper tie…because it’s easy to put on really quick. A real sock monster made out of real socks
Sock Monsters….these are interesting critters! I’ve never seen one, but they keep stealing my socks when I do my laundry. I don’t know how it happens, but I’ll put a pair of socks in the washer and between putting them in the washer and taking them out of the drier they always seem to get my socks. Anyways, the definition below is something I found on the web about Sock Monsters.
